Round Valley
Park City’s crown jewel of open space, Round Valley, comprises 2,100 acres of rolling terrain. Free to the public and open for multi-use, Round Valley offers the most extensive groomed Nordic and single-track trails throughout the winter. With options for all abilities and select areas dedicated to Nordic only, there’s something for everyone. The 6-mile-long Big Easy Loop is groomed for fat bikes, as are the directional PorcUclimb Down Dog trails.
Well-behaved, off-leash dogs are welcomed (although not permitted in Nordic-only areas). Classic tracks are set as conditions allow. The grooming report and interactive map are updated daily throughout the winter.
Dogs allowed. Look for signage for off-leash areas. Leash required if not specified.

& Parking
Round Valley Trailhead at Quinns Junction offers direct access to hiking, biking, and Nordic trails. It also features heated bathrooms and the most parking. Highland Drive Trailhead is also a popular access point from Hwy 40. North Round Valley Trailhead serves the Crooked Mile, Tin Man, and Happy Gilmore trails. Various “neighborhood” trailheads exist but are not recommended as parking is limited and access is more complicated. Parking may fill up during peak periods, please consider using public transportation. See parking cams below is for Sunny Slopes and North Round Valley.
